A Parent or guardian is responsible for the materials checked-out on a child's card (the Mallard Public Library defines a child as one who has not yet entered 6th grade) therefore ...

Borrow from another library

Our library is connected to other libraries throughout the state and nation. If you can't find an item in this library, ask library staff to help you get it from another library.

• If you can't find the book you're looking for in our collection please request an interlibrary loan card. 
• Fill out the card as completely as possible. 
• Be sure to include as much information about the book as you are able.
• Be sure to include your name and telephone number or email address.
• Leave the card with the person at the front desk.
• You'll be notified when your book arrives.
